Dr Rafi Farsheed is an experienced General Practitioner with a diverse healthcare background spanning pharmacy, medicine, general practice, and mental health care. He graduated with a Pharmacy degree from Charles Sturt University in 2009 before completing his medical degree at the University of Sydney in 2013. This unique combination of qualifications provides him with a comprehensive understanding of patient care and medication management.
Dr Farsheed has worked in general practice for more than four years and has additional experience providing after-hours medical care through the National Home Doctor Service. He also has extensive experience in mental health, having completed three years of training as an accredited Psychiatry trainee. This background has strengthened his ability to support patients with a broad range of mental health concerns through compassionate, evidence-based care.
Dr Farsheed enjoys all aspects of general practice and is committed to building long-term relationships with his patients through continuity of care. His special interests include mental health, men’s health, women’s health, child health, preventative health, and chronic disease management. He works collaboratively with patients to develop personalised healthcare plans that support their long-term wellbeing and health goals.
Outside of work, Dr Farsheed enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three boys, who keep him happily busy.
